ENGINEERING SHOW GREAT SUCCESS THOUSANDS THRONG TO RICE TO SEE THE MANY FINE EXHIBITS M SCIENTIFIC FEATURES DISPLAYED -—23 Novel Experiments and Tricks Performed to Attract the Visitor's Attention. 23 Ten thousand people found out something new about Rice Friday and Saturday when they visited the scient i re departments of the Inst i tute in accordance with the pian of the Second Bienniai Engineering Show. Some had seen the first show, given two years ago, and returned to review the old exhibitions and investigate the new; others went over the buildings for the first time; many found out things they had m v e r known before concerning Rice and the engineering courses offered.
